On-Screen Personality
When I initially began my journey as a college student I wanted to be a news anchor. As I would say "I want to be the next Katie Couric." As time went on that vision changed. I realized how much family meant to me and I wanted to have a more flexible schedule in order to be there for my future children as my mom had been there for me. But, I couldn't ever completely pull myself away from the idea of being under the lights and telling the world a story. I had the opportunity to take part in a Broadcast Performance class offered at Washburn.
The video below features the on-screen performances I produced during the course of the semester. The video includes a review of The Hunger Games book and movie, a Spotlight about a Notable Woman and an Interview with Phi Delta Theta House Representative, Todd Soper. Although broadcast isn't the area I pursue, it gives an extra insight into what I'm capable of.
Enjoy!
